Architect workshop

Community School

IICS students had a workshop on 14th October 2017 on the topic ‘Sustainable Transformations through Architecture’. It was conducted by Ms. Meghana Dutta, Principal Architect, LEED AP and her team. She heads the STUDIO DECODE, an architectural design studio in JP Nagar, Bangalore

Students learnt how to make daily life things such as chairs using paper rolls, chair and swing using waste tyres, bridges using ice cream sticks, three dimensional structures using threads and wires, lamp shades using paper cups and so on. The young learners enjoyed the workshop and did presentations on their work. They had a wonderful experience of experiential learning.
